Fitting bush for the Tomos a3 / a35 / a55 engine block / carter. These ensure proper fitting for the carters and the covers. There are 2 fitting bushes in the clutch cover There are 2 fitting bushes in the inertia wheel cover There are 2 fitting bushes in between the middle carters. The fitting bushes can start to jam, this is normal. By (carefully) knocking with a plastic hammer, you can loosen the carters and/or covers. There are 2 copper bushes in which the pinion (starter clutch) turns in a Tomos engine block (with electric start) One of these bushes has been pressed into the engine block, and the other is pressed in the kickstart cover. They are easy to demount by heating the engine block and/or cover with a heater (dryer) or gas burner. Specify which one you need when ordering. See illustration 3, part number 47 and 48.
